LeBron James' Twitter

I'm going to make this post short, sweet and straight to the point because the topic is LeBron James' Twitter activity and frankly, there's only so much you can say about that; but because it's such a "trending topic," I figured it at least deserves some acknowledgement.

So here we go.

From a PR and media perspective, I get the buzz. A high-profile player unfollowing his/her team's social media accounts isn't exactly "good press." Regardless of intention or actual sentiments, it sends the message that said player just does not give one single hoot about the team and something recent and specific caused him/her to feel this way.

Because what do you do when your relationship turns sour? You unfollow.

LeBron James

From a fan and personal perspective, I really really reallllllllly could not care less who LeBron James follows on twitter... and I'm not quite sure why it's turned into a relatively big topic of discussion. As long as his productivity on the court stays the same, he could unfollow his brother and life over here would continue on just as smoothly.

*Sigh.* Can we put this to rest now? He said he's just entering "playoff mode." So I'll choose to believe that and turn my attention to more pressing issues like what I'm eating for dinner.
